Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF)

This regulated qualification is designed for individuals who wish to act as an emergency first aider in their workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

• Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
• Assess an incident and manage unresponsive casualties
• Administer CPR and use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• Provide first aid to a casualty who is choking, bleeding or in shock

3. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & AED usage
4. Unresponsive casualty management & recovery position
5. Choking management
6. Wounds and catastrophic bleeding control
7. Minor injuries, shock, and burns

Designated workplace first aiders, safety marshals, team leaders, and staff across all industries.

No prior first aid experience required. Minimum age 16.
